Hi there! Thanks for reaching out. I want to make sure I understand correctly: when you open the Rumble app on your iPhone and select a favorite show, it opens but then the video doesn’t start playing—is that right? Does anything happen at all, like buffering or an error message? Also, is this issue happening with just one show or with multiple programs? Any details you can share will help me guide you better.

Meanwhile, here are some initial things to try on your iPhone with iOS 16.7.10:

1. Check your internet connection: Make sure your Wi-Fi or cellular data is working well by opening another app or website.

2. Restart the Rumble app: Swipe up from the bottom and pause to open the app switcher, then swipe the Rumble app off the screen to close it. Reopen it and try playing the show again.

3. Update the Rumble app: Go to the App Store, tap your profile icon at the top right, and check if there’s an update available for Rumble. If yes, update and try again.

4. Restart your iPhone: Sometimes a quick restart can resolve temporary glitches.

5. Check app permissions: Go to Settings > Rumble and ensure it has permissions enabled, especially for cellular data if you’re not on Wi-Fi.

If you’ve tried all of these and still can’t play the video, we can look at more advanced troubleshooting steps, such as clearing the app cache if available, or checking if any iOS settings related to autoplay or video restrictions are enabled.

Could you please try these out and let me know what happens? If there are any error messages, please share those too!

Thanks for the extra detail! Since the issue only happens on one TV with a Firestick while your iPhone and other TVs are working fine, the problem is likely related to the Firestick device or its app installation.

Here’s what I recommend to troubleshoot the Rumble app specifically on your Firestick:

1. Restart the Firestick
Unplug the Firestick from the power source, wait about 30 seconds, then plug it back in. This can clear temporary glitches affecting playback.1

2. Clear the Rumble App Cache and Data
- From the Firestick Home screen, go to Settings > Applications > Manage Installed Applications.
- Find and select the Rumble app.
- Choose Clear Cache and Clear Data.
This removes any corrupted files that might stop videos from playing properly.2

3. Update or Reinstall the Rumble App
Sometimes apps can have issues if outdated or improperly installed. You can uninstall Rumble from the same Manage Installed Applications menu, then download it again from the Amazon Appstore.

4. Check the Internet Connection on the Firestick
Even if other devices work fine, your Firestick might have a weak or unstable Wi-Fi signal. Verify the Firestick’s connection in Settings > Network and try relocating the Firestick closer to the router or using ethernet via an adapter if possible.4

If all these steps don’t resolve the issue, there may be a deeper compatibility or account-related problem. In that case, contacting Rumble support at [email protected] would be a good next step.

Could you please try these on the Firestick and let me know if the videos start playing? I’m here to help you get this sorted!

Thanks for the update and glad that steps 1, 2, and 4 helped your Firestick play Rumble videos! Since you haven’t yet tried step 3 (clearing the app cache and reinstalling), I recommend that next if you ever face the issue again or if playback problems reoccur. Sometimes issues can come back if the app’s data is corrupted or outdated.

If you do find that videos still won’t play on the Firestick even after restart, clearing cache, and network check, here’s a quick refresher on that step 3 based on common Rumble app video issues on Firestick:

- Uninstall the Rumble app from your Firestick through Settings > Applications > Manage Installed Applications > Rumble > Uninstall.
- Then go to the Amazon Appstore on your Firestick, search for Rumble, and reinstall it fresh.
- This resets the app completely, which often resolves stubborn playback issues1.

If reinstalling doesn’t fix it, the next step would be to verify no account or content restrictions are blocking playback or consider reaching out to Rumble support directly.

For now, since it’s working after your previous steps, you’re all set! Let me know if any problems pop up again or if you have other questions.

Are you satisfied with the solution I provided?
