Hi there! I understand you're having trouble with the Weatherzone+ app, specifically with the marine, tide, and moon data not loading. Let's work through this together to get it sorted.

First, can you tell me if the rest of the app is working fine? For example, are you able to see regular weather forecasts, or is the app entirely not loading data? Also, is this issue happening consistently or did it just start recently?

Meanwhile, here are some initial steps we can try on your Mac running OS X 10.15.7:

1. Check Your Internet Connection: Make sure your device has a stable internet connection, as the app needs access to online data.

2. Restart the Weatherzone+ App: Quit the app completely and then reopen it. Sometimes, a simple restart can resolve data loading issues.

3. Update the App: Check if there is an available update for the Weatherzone+ app in the App Store. Updates often fix bugs or data feed interruptions.

4. Clear Cache or Data: On macOS, clearing an app's cache isn’t as straightforward as on mobile devices, but quitting the app and restarting your Mac can help reset temporary files.

5. Check App Permissions: Ensure the app has permission to access location services if location-specific data is required.

If you’ve already tried these steps or the problem persists, let me know, and we'll look into more advanced troubleshooting such as checking account status or possible server-side issues.

How does that sound so far?

The rest of the Weatherzone+ app is working fine. This issue is happening consistently. Tried the above steps, but issue not resolved. Btw, weatherzone+ is no longer listed in the ios app store.

Thanks for the extra details. Since the Weatherzone+ app is no longer listed in the iOS App Store and you’re experiencing consistent issues with loading marine, tide, and moon data despite the other parts working, this might be related to the app’s support or data feed being reduced or deprecated.

On macOS, especially with your OS X 10.15.7, here are a couple of things we can do next:

1. Check if the app is still supported:
Given the app is removed from the iOS store, it’s possible updates or data feeds have been discontinued for certain features or platforms. Weatherzone’s support pages or contacting them at [email protected] could confirm this status.

2. Try the Weatherzone website or alternative apps:
Since the app’s marine/tide/moon data isn’t loading, you could temporarily use Weatherzone’s website on your Mac’s browser for those specific data. Alternatively, apps like BOM Weather or other marine/tide forecast apps on iOS/macOS might have more current support.

3. Check for any app account or subscription requirements:
Some advanced features like marine or moon data might require a subscription or login that may have expired or needs re-authentication. Verify if you need to sign back in or renew services within the app.

4. Consider removing and reinstalling the app on macOS:
Since it’s not available on iOS App Store, check if your Mac version allows uninstall and reinstall from the Mac App Store or direct download. This might reset any corrupted settings affecting data loading.

5. Look for app alternatives or updates from Weatherzone:
Sometimes Weatherzone releases new apps or redesigns. Checking their official website or support channels can provide guidance on recommended replacements for the app.

If you want, I can help guide you through checking your app subscription status or finding alternative sources for marine, tide, and moon data on your Mac or iOS devices.

Would you like me to assist with that? Also, are you primarily using the app on your Mac, or on an iOS device as well?

Thanks for letting me know you're on iPadOS 16.7.2. That helps narrow things down.

Given that you're using iPadOS 16, which introduced a native Apple Weather app, and considering the Weatherzone+ app is no longer in the iOS App Store, it's quite possible that Weatherzone hasn’t updated the app fully for compatibility with the latest iPadOS versions. Some Weatherzone users have reported issues with features like radar or data feeds not functioning properly on newer iOS versions, which may also affect marine, tide, and moon data in your case2.

Here’s what I recommend next:

1. Use the native Apple Weather app on iPadOS 16.7.2:
Apple introduced a fully featured Weather app on the iPad starting with iPadOS 16. It provides detailed weather data including radar, and in many regions, tide info as well. This might be a good alternative while Weatherzone+ support is limited3.

2. Check for any Weatherzone app updates or announcements:
Even though it’s off the App Store, sometimes Weatherzone provides updates or new apps via their website or support channels. It’s worth visiting their Mobile Apps support page to see current status or replacements7.

3. Reinstall Weatherzone+ if still installed:
Since you are on iPadOS, if you had the app previously installed, try deleting it and reinstalling it from your Purchased list in the App Store (since it’s removed from public listing, but may remain downloadable if previously purchased). This can sometimes resolve compatibility glitches.

4. Consider alternative weather apps:
Other apps like BOM Weather or third-party marine/tide apps might give you the tide and moon data you need reliably on iPadOS 16.

If you want, I can help you locate these alternatives or guide you through reinstalling Weatherzone+ from your Purchased list. Also, would you like help setting up Apple’s built-in Weather app for marine and tide info where available?

Let me know which direction you'd prefer, and we’ll get you back on track!

Thanks for clarifying that Apple’s native Weather app on iPadOS doesn’t provide marine, tide, or moon phase data. That’s correct—the Apple Weather app focuses primarily on general weather conditions and forecasts, and doesn’t include detailed tide or lunar info.

Comparing Weatherzone app to Apple Weather app on those specific data points:

- Weatherzone+ App: Historically, Weatherzone+ did offer detailed marine weather, tide times, and moon phases as part of its feature set. However, since the app is no longer available on the iOS App Store and may not be fully supported on iPadOS 16, you’re experiencing issues with loading this data.

- Apple Weather App: Provides general weather info, radar, temperature, rainfall, wind, but does not supply marine-specific data like tides or moon phases.

Since you want reliable marine, tide, and moon phase information on your iPad, I suggest exploring specialized third-party apps that focus on these. Some highly rated options include:

- Marine Weather and Tides: Offers temperature, wind speed/direction, wave height, and reliable tidal info1

- Tide Guide: Charts & Tables: Provides tide info, marine weather conditions, solar and lunar tracking4

- My Tide Times: Includes moonrise, moonset, moon phases, and tide charts6

These apps are well suited to provide the marine, tide, and moon phase data that Weatherzone+ previously offered but may no longer reliably do on your iPad.

If you want, I can help you find and set up one of these apps on your iPad, or assist with further Weatherzone account checks or alternatives. Just let me know!

Are you satisfied with exploring these third-party app options, or do you want me to check any other routes for Weatherzone?

Thanks for pointing that out—you're right, the "Marine Weather and Tides" app requires iOS 17 and seems primarily designed for iPhone compatibility at this time1. Since your iPad is on iPadOS 16.7.2, that app won’t install or run properly on your device.

Given this, here are some alternative suggestions to get marine, tide, and moon data on your iPad:

1. Check for other marine/tide apps supporting iPadOS 16:
Some apps like "My Tide Times" or "Tide Guide" may support slightly older iOS/iPadOS versions and have good tidal and moon phase data6 4. It’s worth searching in the App Store directly and checking their compatibility.

2. Use trusted marine and tide forecast websites via Safari:
You can access websites that provide tidal and moon phase data optimized for mobile browsers. For instance, the Bureau of Meteorology (BOM) website has detailed tide charts and marine forecasts suitable for Australian waters.

3. Consider updating to iPadOS 17 (if possible):
If your iPad hardware supports iPadOS 17, upgrading would unlock access to newer apps like "Marine Weather and Tides" and "WeatherMarine" that offer detailed marine data for your device3.

4. Keep an eye on Weatherzone app updates or alternatives:
While Weatherzone+ might not be fully supported now, Weatherzone’s other apps or web offerings might improve support for iPad in the future.

If you want, I can help you find compatible apps that work with your current iPadOS version or guide you to reliable marine/tide web resources. Also, I can assist with how to check for an iPadOS 17 update if you want to explore that option.

Would you like me to help with any of these? Which solution sounds best for you?

Thanks for your patience! Based on recent info, here are some well-regarded apps compatible with iPadOS (including 16.7.2) that provide comprehensive marine, tide, AND moon phase data:

1. My Tide Times - Tables & Chart
- Provides tide times, moonrise, moonset, and moon phase information.
- Optimized for iPad and suitable for your iPadOS version.
- Popular among users looking for reliable tide charts and lunar data.
- You can find it here: My Tide Times on App Store 1 4

2. Tide Guide - Charts & Tables
- Award-winning app available for iPad.
- Offers detailed tide charts and marine weather data.
- Also includes solar and lunar (moon phases) information.
- More info: Tide Guide on App Store 3

3. AyeTides
- Known for detailed tide tables and graphical data on iPad.
- Includes moon phase info as well.
- While somewhat older, still recommended by marine users for iPad compatibility.
- Discussion link: Trawler Forum thread

4. Tides Pro (web and app)
- Accurate tide predictions, marine weather, solunar (moon and fish activity) tables.
- Works on iPad and other Apple devices.
- Website and App Store app both provide strong tide and moon data.
- Website: Tides Pro 6

Since Weatherzone+ is less reliable or unsupported on your device now, these apps are top-quality alternatives offering marine, tide, and moon phase data on iPadOS 16.7.2.

Would you like me to guide you through downloading and setting up one of these apps on your iPad? Or if you want, I can help you explore marine weather websites that show this data via Safari as a backup option. Just let me know!

Thanks for pointing that out again. Based on the latest information, Tide Guide - Charts & Tables requires iPadOS 17 or later to run, so it won’t work on your iPad running iPadOS 16.7.21.

Similarly, the app TidesPro also requires iPadOS 17 or later, so that’s not an option either8.

Given this, and since “Marine Weather and Tides” also requires iOS 17, currently the best supported apps compatible with iPadOS 16.7.2 that include marine, tide, and moon phases data are limited.

So here’s what I propose next:

1. Try the “My Tide Times - Tables & Chart” app:
This app is known to support iPadOS 16 and offers tide times and moon phase info, so it’s worth checking if it meets your needs. My Tide Times on App Store 6

2. Use reliable marine and tide websites on Safari:
Websites like the Australian Bureau of Meteorology (BOM) provide detailed tide charts and moon phases accessible via your iPad’s browser.

3. Consider updating your iPad to iPadOS 17 (if hardware supports it):
This would expand your app options significantly, unlocking access to a wide range of modern marine apps like Tide Guide and TidesPro.

4. Check for Weatherzone announcements or alternative apps:
While Weatherzone+ is deprecated, they may offer new apps or web solutions for marine data.

If you want, I can help you explore the “My Tide Times” app’s features or guide you to trusted marine tide and moon phase websites you can use in the meantime. Also, I can assist you in checking if your iPad supports iPadOS 17 for an update.

What would you like to try next?
