Hello! I understand that after the last update on your iPad, you're unable to find the menu for CARROT Weather activities directly on the device and have to use your phone instead. Let's get this sorted out for you.

To get a better idea, could you tell me if the app layout or tabs look different on your iPad compared to your phone? Sometimes updates, especially with iOS 26, have redesigned app navigation, which might have shifted or renamed parts of the menu.

Meanwhile, here's what you can try to restore or locate the activities menu on your iPad:

1. Look for Tab Bar Changes: The update might have changed the bottom navigation tabs—sometimes "Weather" is now called "Forecast," and "Maps" is renamed "Radar." Check if you see these renamed tabs and if the CARROT activities could be nested under one of them.

2. Explore Side or Hidden Menus: On iPad, apps sometimes move menus to sidebars or hamburger menus (three lines icon). Tap around the upper corners or sidebars to see if the activities menu is housed there.

3. Restart the App: Close CARROT Weather fully (swipe up from the bottom and swipe the app off screen) and relaunch. This can sometimes restore UI elements.

4. Check for Updates: Ensure you have the latest version of CARROT Weather installed; the recent 6.3.1 update fixed some interface cuts and margins issues on iOS 26, which might relate to your problem.

5. Reinstall the App: If none of the above works, you can try uninstalling and reinstalling CARROT Weather. Your settings should remain if you log back in.

If you've already tried these steps or the menu is still missing, could you please let me know the exact app version installed on your iPad? Also, has this issue started immediately after updating to iOS 26 or only after the CARROT Weather update?

This will help me guide you further or escalate it if needed. Looking forward to your reply!

I’ve done all the above plus it does keep crashing. Can I send you screenshots because the main screens are different in the sense that there’s a menu bar on my iPhone for CARROT and settings. When I go into my iPad, that bar is not up top and if I double click my iPad it pulls up settings and everything but there’s no way to get the carrot. It’s not even an option.

Thanks for sharing those details, and I appreciate you trying those troubleshooting steps already. Since your CARROT Weather app is crashing on the iPad and you cannot see the menu bar for CARROT and Settings like on your iPhone, it sounds like this is likely related to the recent iOS 26 update and how CARROT Weather has adapted—or is still adapting—to the new iPadOS interface.

From the latest discussions and reports around the CARROT Weather update 6.3.1, it’s known that the app redesigned its look to match iOS 26’s style, including rearranged tab bars and navigation changes. On iPad, in particular, the menu and navigation might not appear at the top as you expect but could be shifted to a sidebar or a different layout altogether. Unfortunately, some users have reported crashes and missing UI elements after updating1 2.

Here’s what I recommend as next steps to address both the crashing and missing menu on your iPad:

1. Force App Restart and Fresh Launch: Since you've done this already, let's confirm it was done fully. Double-click the Home button or swipe up to open the app switcher, then swipe CARROT Weather completely off screen, then relaunch.

2. Clear Temporary Data / Cache: Sometimes leftover cache causes crashes. Unfortunately, iOS doesn’t provide a manual cache clear option, but uninstalling the app and reinstalling it fresh can help. Ensure you back up any important settings or data associated with CARROT if needed.

3. Check for Any Pending App Updates: Open the App Store on your iPad and confirm if there’s any update to CARROT Weather beyond 6.3.1. Sometimes, follow-up patches appear quickly after major issues.

4. Switch to Light or Dark Mode: Oddly enough, some users report UI glitches linked to iOS theme settings. Try toggling iPadOS display settings (Settings > Display & Brightness > Light or Dark) and relaunch CARROT.

5. Test with a Different User Account (if possible): Log out of CARROT Weather and log back in or try a different Apple ID to see if it’s an account-specific problem.

6. Report the Issue: Given the crash and menu disappearance issues on the iPad with iOS 26, it’s likely something CARROT’s developer is actively tracking. I recommend sending screenshots and details to [email protected] so they can identify the bug.

If the crashing prevents any useful interaction on the iPad, for now, continuing to use the CARROT Weather on your phone might be necessary until an official fix is released.

Would you like me to assist you step-by-step with any of these points? Also, if you can share which specific version of CARROT Weather you currently have installed on your iPad, that would help.

Are you satisfied with this plan? I’m here to make sure we solve this together.

Thank you for your kind words! I'm really glad to hear how much you enjoy CARROT Weather. It truly means a lot.

Regarding your question about bug fixes for CARROT Weather on iOS after the recent update: according to the latest info, the v6.3 update didn’t include specific bug fixes for iOS client issues, but the developers have been actively working on improvements and performance tweaks. The upcoming updates are expected to address a number of bugs and enhancements related to iOS 261.

Also, the app recently added great support for iOS 18 features, showing that the team is committed to keeping CARROT current and stable10.

So your patience is well placed! Keeping your app updated ensures you get these fixes as soon as they arrive.

If you want, I can help you keep track of new updates or troubleshoot any further issue you face in the meantime. How does that sound? Are you satisfied with this info?
