Hi there! I see you’re experiencing crashes in Static Shift Racing when using the dealerships and pictures mod on your iPhone running iOS 15.8.4. Let's work through this together.
To start, can you tell me a bit more about how you're installing the pictures mod? For example, did you download it from a particular source, or is it an integrated feature? Also, does the crash happen instantly when you enter the dealership or only after interacting with certain pictures?
In the meantime, here are some troubleshooting steps tailored for your iPhone and game setup:
1. Restart the Game and Device Sometimes, a simple restart can resolve temporary glitches. Close the game completely (swipe it away from your app switcher) and restart your iPhone before launching again.
2. Check for Game Updates Ensure Static Shift Racing is updated to the latest version from the App Store. The developers often fix bugs including mod-related crashes.
3. Verify iOS Compatibility While iOS 15.8.4 should work fine with the app, some mods can have compatibility issues with specific iOS versions. Check if there’s a newer iOS update available and consider updating after backing up your data.
4. Mod Compatibility and Installation - If the pictures mod was added separately, confirm it supports the current game version. Mods sometimes break when the game updates. - Try temporarily disabling or removing the pictures mod to see if the game still crashes at dealerships. This will help isolate if the mod is the cause.
5. Clear Game Cache or Data if Possible iOS apps don’t usually allow clearing cache manually, but uninstalling and reinstalling the game can help reset corrupt files. Note that uninstalling may erase saved data unless it’s backed up to iCloud or an account.
6. Check for Reported Issues Sometimes, crashes caused by mods are known issues within the community. I checked some recent player discussions, and crashes related specifically to dealership pictures mod are occasionally reported, often due to mod incompatibility or outdated files17.
If after these steps the crash persists, we might want to look deeper into the mod’s files or consider contacting the mod creator for an updated version.
Could you try these suggestions and let me know what happens at each step? That way, I can help you better with targeted fixes.
Are you satisfied with this initial approach, or would you like me to assist further?
I am already deleted and reinstalled from AppStore but the problem didn't fix also game is crashing when open dealership and select any cars other than first car also had problems after purchasing the first car the game is stuck not working also had same problem when using camera mod and when we get back to Home Screen and start game is ok and running but when I am using dealership mod or photo mode the game is not working
