Hi there! I see you're having trouble signing into the Prove It app and would like to cancel your account. Let's first make sure we understand the sign-in problem fully, so we can tackle that or proceed with canceling your account as smoothly as possible.

Could you tell me what happens when you try to sign in? For example, are you getting an error message like "incorrect username or password," or is the app not responding? Also, have you tried any steps like resetting your password yet?

This will help me guide you best through either regaining access or properly canceling your account.

It prompts me to give my phone number to receive a code. Then I receive a red letter error code, and an option to use my email. Then the same thing happens.

Thank you for explaining the situation! It sounds like the app is not accepting your phone number verification and then also failing the email option, both showing an error in red letters. Let's try a few steps that often resolve this verification issue:

1. Check Network Connection: Ensure your Android device has a stable internet connection, either via Wi-Fi or mobile data. Sometimes a weak or unstable connection interrupts code delivery.

2. Restart Your Device: A simple reboot can reset any temporary glitches affecting verification.

3. Clear App Cache:
- Go to your device's Settings > Apps > find the Prove It app.
- Tap Storage and then Clear Cache.
- This removes temporary data that might interfere with the app.

4. Update or Reinstall the App:
- Check the Play Store to see if there’s an update available.
- If not or the problem persists, uninstall then reinstall the app to ensure it's fresh and up to date.

5. Permissions Check:
- Verify the app has permission to access SMS and phone status, which it needs to verify your phone number.
- You can check this under Settings > Apps > Prove It > Permissions.

6. Try an Alternative Phone Number or Email:
- If possible, attempt verification with a different phone number.
- You mentioned the email method also faces errors — after trying these steps, retry that alternative to see if it works.

If after these steps the red error still appears, the issue could be on the backend or a temporary server-side problem, in which case contacting Prove It's support team directly would help.

If you want, I can also help you begin the account cancellation, but usually it's best to resolve sign-in issues first in case you want to save your data or subscriptions.

Would you like me to guide you through these troubleshooting steps, or proceed with canceling now?
