Hi! I’m Grace Wilson from Evite support. I’m here to help you get those invitations sent out smoothly. Can you share a bit more about what’s happening? For example, are you seeing any error messages when you try to send invitations, or do they just never arrive to guests? Also, are you using the web version or the app on your Windows device? This will help me guide you better.

I am using the web version on my laptop and tried it on my phone also. It allowed me to invite myself as cohost and then when I click add guests it lets me enter the information, asks if I am a robot, makes me verify then doesn't do anything and asks again, send to guests?

Thank you for the details! It sounds like when you try to add guests and go through the verification step—likely a CAPTCHA to confirm you're not a robot—you end up stuck in a loop where it keeps asking for verification but never proceeds to actually send the invitations. Since this happens both on your laptop’s web browser and your phone, it’s less likely to be a device-specific issue and more related to the browser environment or account/session on Evite.

Let's try these steps to get past the verification loop:

1. Clear Browser Cache and Cookies:
Sometimes stored cache or cookies cause issues with CAPTCHA verification. On your Windows laptop’s WebKit browser, clear the browsing data focused on cookies and cache.
- Go to browser settings > Privacy or History > Clear browsing data.
- Select cookies and cached files specifically.
- Restart the browser and try again.

2. Disable Browser Extensions Temporarily:
Extensions like ad blockers or privacy tools can interfere with CAPTCHA scripts.
- Disable any extensions, especially those related to ad or script blocking.
- Refresh Evite and try to send your invitations again.

3. Try Using Incognito/Private Browsing Mode:
Opening a private or incognito window disables most extensions and won’t use cached data, which can help bypass issues related to stored data.

4. Verify Your Evite Account and Limitations:
Make sure your account is in good standing and not exceeding any guest limits (for example, Evite Gold packages have guest limits).
- Log out and back in to refresh your session.
- Double-check if the total number of guests is within allowed limits for your plan.

5. Network Check:
Ensure your internet connection is stable, and if you're behind a VPN or corporate firewall, try disabling it briefly as this sometimes triggers CAPTCHA issues.

If these steps don’t resolve the looping verification, there may be a temporary backend or Cloudflare issue (which handles much of this verification)—in which case, contacting Evite support directly at [email protected] for escalation might be necessary.

Would you like me to guide you through clearing browser data and disabling extensions, or have you already tried some of these steps?

- Sending invitations via email or text messages for convenience.
- Managing your event notifications and reminders through the app.

These tools work together to help you plan from start to finish, whether it’s a small gathering or a big celebration6 1.

Thanks for confirming! I’ll guide you step-by-step on clearing your browser cache and disabling extensions in your WebKit-based browser on Windows 10—this should help with the verification loop on Evite.

### How to Clear Cache and Cookies:
1. Open your browser.
2. Click on the menu icon (often three dots or lines) typically in the upper-right corner.
3. Select Settings or Preferences.
4. Look for Privacy & Security or History settings.
5. Find the option to Clear browsing data.
6. Choose to clear Cookies and other site data and Cached images and files. It’s safe to leave other data unchecked.
7. Confirm and clear the data.
8. Close and reopen your browser, then try sending invitations again.

### How to Disable Extensions:
1. Go back to your browser's menu.
2. Find Extensions or Add-ons settings.
3. You’ll see a list of installed extensions.
4. Toggle off or disable any extensions, especially those related to ad blockers, privacy, or script blockers.
5. After disabling, restart your browser.
6. Head to Evite and try the invitation process again.

### Bonus:
You can also try using a Private or Incognito window where extensions are usually disabled by default and cached data is not used.

If after doing this the problem remains, let me know, and we can explore next steps together.

Are you comfortable trying this now? I can assist if any step is unclear!
