Hi there! I see you're having trouble scanning Missouri Lottery scratcher tickets in the app, and you're getting an error saying "Can not be displayed. Please try again." Could you tell me a bit more about what happens when you scan the tickets? For example, is it every ticket you try to scan, or just certain ones? Also, have you tried any steps like restarting the app or your device? This info will help me guide you better.

Meanwhile, here are some common steps to try that often resolve scanning issues with the Missouri Lottery app on Android:

1. Update the Missouri Lottery App
Make sure your app is up to date in the Google Play Store. Sometimes scanning errors are fixed in newer versions.

2. Clear App Cache and Data
Since you're on Android 10 with WebKit browser, clearing cache and data can help reset the scanner functionality:
- Go to Settings > Apps > Missouri Lottery Official App > Storage
- Tap "Clear Cache" and then "Clear Data" (note this may require you to log in again).

3. Check Lighting & Camera Permissions
The scanner depends on your camera:
- Ensure adequate lighting when scanning the ticket.
- Confirm that the app has permission to access your camera under Settings > Apps > Missouri Lottery App > Permissions.

4. Try Scanning Another Ticket or Type
If possible, try scanning a different scratcher ticket or a draw game ticket to see if the issue is ticket-specific.

5. Restart Your Device
Sometimes a simple reboot of your Android device clears temporary issues that affect camera or apps.

6. Check for Damaged Tickets
Ensure that the scratcher tickets are not overly scratched or damaged in a way that prevents the app from reading the barcode or code properly.

If you've already done these and it still fails, sometimes the app backend or servers can have issues causing scanning errors as well.

Can you try these initial steps and let me know what happens? If the problem persists, I can suggest more advanced troubleshooting or escalate to our technical team.

Are you satisfied with these steps, or would you like me to walk you through any part in more detail?

Thanks for letting me know you've tried clearing cache, reinstalling the app twice, restarting your device multiple times, and that all tickets are non-damaged but still scanning with the error "Cannot display. Please try again."

Based on what you've done so far, it sounds like the usual fixes haven’t resolved the problem. Sometimes this error can happen if there's a temporary server or backend issue on the Missouri Lottery's side that affects ticket validation or display.

Here’s what I recommend next:

1. Check for Service Outages or App Updates
- Confirm that your app is the latest version via the Google Play Store.
- Visit Missouri Lottery's official website or social media channels to see if there are any announcements about known outages or technical issues affecting ticket scanning.

2. Try Logging into Your Account on Another Device (If Available)
- If possible, install the app on another Android device or iOS device and try scanning a ticket there. This will help determine if the problem is specific to your device or account.

3. Switch to Manual Entry
- Instead of scanning, try entering the ticket number manually in the app to check if the ticket can be validated. If manual entry works but scanning doesn’t, that points to a scanner-related issue.

4. Contact Missouri Lottery Support
- Since you’ve exhausted standard troubleshooting, I suggest reaching out to Missouri Lottery’s technical support directly via email at [email protected]. Provide details about your device (Android 10 with WebKit browser), the app version, and your troubleshooting steps. They can check your account and server status more thoroughly.

For context, this error message often means the app received the scan but couldn’t fetch the ticket info to display, likely a backend or network issue unrelated to your device’s basic setup12.

Would you like me to help draft an email to support, or assist in any other way? Are you satisfied with this plan?

Hi again! Thanks for your patience with this persistent scanning error "Cannot be displayed. Please try again." when trying to check your scratcher tickets.

Since you've confirmed all tickets are undamaged, and you've already cleared app cache/data, reinstalled the app, and restarted your Android 10 device multiple times with no luck, this likely points to a backend or app-level issue rather than your device or tickets themselves.

Here are some additional points to consider based on recent insights:

1. App or Server Issues May Be Ongoing
The Missouri Lottery app sometimes experiences temporary glitches or backend problems that prevent ticket data from loading properly after scanning, causing errors like the one you see. This is not uncommon for users after app updates or during server maintenance12.

2. Try Manual Entry of Ticket Numbers
If scanning consistently fails, try entering your scratcher ticket numbers manually in the app to see if the tickets are recognized and validated. If manual entry works, it confirms a scanning or processing glitch.

3. Testing on Another Device or Network
If you have access to another phone or tablet, try installing the app and scanning tickets there to determine if the problem is device-specific. Also, switching to a different Wi-Fi or mobile network can rule out network-related issues.

4. Contact Missouri Lottery Support
Since this is a widespread scanning error affecting "all tickets," it’s a good idea to report this to Missouri Lottery’s technical support team. You can email them at [email protected] with all the relevant info: your device model, Android 10 OS, app version, and the detailed errors you’re encountering. They may have updates or fixes pending or can check for account or server problems that you can’t resolve locally3.

5. Keep App Updated
Sometimes a new app version is released to fix bugs like this—please check Google Play Store regularly for updates.

Would you like me to help draft that email to their support for you? Also, please let me know if you want step-by-step instructions on how to enter tickets manually in the app or test on another device.

Are you satisfied with this plan so far?
