Thank you for the additional details! Since you’ve already reinstalled the app and you’re running Windows 11, let’s try a few more steps to troubleshoot the issue of the Assimil app crashing without any error messages.

1. Check for Windows Updates:
- Sometimes, there might be pending updates that can affect app performance. Click on the Start menu, go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update, and check for any available updates. Install them if there are any.

2. Run as Administrator:
- Right-click on the Assimil app icon and select Run as administrator. This can sometimes solve permission-related issues that may cause the app to crash.

3. Compatibility Mode:
- Right-click on the Assimil app icon, select Properties, then go to the Compatibility tab. Check the box that says Run this program in compatibility mode for: and choose an older version of Windows, like Windows 10. Click Apply and then OK.

4. Check App Settings:
- Sometimes, the app settings might be corrupted. You can reset the app to its default settings by going to Settings > Apps > Apps & features, finding the Assimil app, clicking on it, and then selecting Advanced options where you should find a Reset button.

5. Event Viewer:
- To dive deeper into the problem, we can use Event Viewer to look for more information on the crashes. You can open Event Viewer by typing “Event Viewer” in the Start menu search. Once it's open, check under Windows Logs > Application to see if there are any logs related to the Assimil app crash, which could provide more insight.

If these steps do not resolve the issue, it may be necessary to report the problem directly to Assimil support so they can look into any potential app compatibility issues with Windows 11. You can contact them at [email protected] or check this link for any specific help related to technical problems with their e-courses.

Let me know how it goes, and if you need any further assistance! Are you satisfied with the solution I provided?

Thanks for your patience. Let’s dig a bit deeper into the problem of the Assimil app crashing while loading the course. I’ve found a couple of relevant resources that could help us understand and potentially resolve this issue.

1. Technical Problems FAQ: Assimil has a dedicated section for technical problems regarding their e-courses. You might find solutions specific to the app crashes there. You can check their FAQ page here.

2. User Discussions: There have been similar discussions on forums where users report issues when trying to load courses. It appears that some users experienced similar crashes, and there may be troubleshooting steps mentioned there. You can find one such discussion on Reddit here.

In addition to exploring those resources, here are a few more troubleshooting steps you can try:

- Reset the App: As I mentioned earlier, you can reset the app under Settings > Apps > Apps & features, find Assimil, click on it, and go to Advanced options to find the reset option.

- Clear Cache: Sometimes clearing cache data can help. Here’s how you can do it:
1. Press Windows + R to open the Run dialog.
2. Type %localappdata% and hit Enter.
3. Look for the Assimil folder, open it, and clear any cache files present.

- Check for Background Applications: Sometimes, other applications may interfere with the Assimil app. Make sure to close unnecessary applications while trying to use the Assimil app.

If these steps still don’t resolve the crashing issue, I recommend reaching out to Assimil support directly via email at [email protected] to report the problem. They might have more in-depth insights and additional solutions.

Let me know how these suggestions work for you! Are you satisfied with the solution I provided?

There have been some reported compatibility issues with recent Windows updates that might affect various applications, including potentially the Assimil app. Here are a few key points to consider:

1. General Compatibility Issues: Some users have experienced unexpected behavior from applications after updating their Windows operating systems. These issues can vary widely based on specific software and hardware configurations. You can read more about these compatibility issues on Microsoft’s Answers page here.

2. Windows 11 Specifics: Windows 11 has dropped support for older hardware components and configurations, which could lead to compatibility issues with certain applications. A discussion on Reddit touches on these changes and their implications for users here.

3. Known Issues with Updates: There are ongoing discussions regarding known issues with Windows 11 updates (including the 24H2 update), affecting device compatibility with specific software. This can impact audio devices, stability, and other functionalities. For more details on these known issues, you can check articles like this one regarding the latest updates here.

Given the information, it would be worthwhile to check if you have the latest version of the Assimil app that supports the current Windows updates. Also, if the app continues to crash, contacting Assimil support (at [email protected]) may provide more specific compatibility insights tailored to your situation.
